The Continental Hotel is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join the team. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient team performance, compliance with liquor licensing laws, and maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and product quality. The role involves supervising bar staff, supporting stock control procedures, and assisting management in achieving operational and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality customer service and create a positive guest experience.
Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere within the venue.
Oversee daily bar setup, service, and closing procedures.
Monitor cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the bar area.
Ensure drink preparation and service meet company standards.
Assist with stock ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control.
Ensure accurate cash handling and point-of-sale procedures.
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws and venue policies.
Maintain workplace health and safety standards.
Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a bar, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of bar operations, beverages, and customer service standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (required).
Current knowledge of liquor licensing and workplace safety requirements.
Salary between $71,550 to $85,000. per annum + superannuation.
