Just seven minutes from bustling Queenstown, this is an alpine, lakeside retreat, nestled in one of the world’s most strikingly beautiful landscapes. With clean lines in glass, stone and timber, Matakauri’s own take on luxury is understated and welcoming, embracing guests and championing the mountainscape.

We are currently seeking a Handy-Person.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and detailed local knowledge. This is a varied, hands-on role where you will need to be willing and able to pull your sleeves up and get stuck into maintenance projects as they arise. To apply for this role you will need to be passionate about delivering a superior customer experience and thrive on customer interaction.


The successful candidate will have:

Relevant maintenance / handyman experience
Building and Painting experience,
Gardening skills,
Clean New Zealand Drivers' License
Experience in a customer service role
In-depth local knowledge (preferred)

Due our private and remote location, you will need to have your own reliable transport. You will also need a valid working holiday visa or New Zealand work rights to apply.
