We are a Christian childcare centre located in Queenstown, providing exceptional care and education to families in our community.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable candidates to join our casual relievers pool. While an ECE qualification is an advantage, we are also interested in hearing from experienced, unqualified applicants who have references demonstrating their experience working with young children. This role may also suit a university or high school student (must be at least 17 years old) seeking school holiday work and who has experience working with children.

To support our friendly, professional team during staff absences, we are seeking capable individuals who:

Have a kind and nurturing approach toward children
Possess good communication and teamwork skills
Are flexible and responsive to the needs of the centre

As not all staff absences are planned, a willingness to be available on short notice is highly desirable.

To be successful in your application, you will need to:

Be available as an on-call reliever, Monday to Friday, any time between 8:00am – 5:30pm (depending on the shift you are covering)
Have experience working with children and the flexibility to work across all age groups, from 3 months to 6 years
Work well in a team environment
Be proactive and show initiative in the classroom, supporting teachers in providing quality care and education
Be available to start as soon as possible
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
