Live-In Caregiver

Pay: $250.00-$400.00 per day

Home Care Assistance is seeking compassionate and dedicated 24 HR / Live-in Caregivers to join our team for the Valley- Wasilla/Palmer area. The ideal candidate must have a clean background, a valid driver's license, and car insurance. Must have Caregiving experience.

This position requires a Caregiver who is comfortable with constant redirection, dementia behaviors, and being out in the community running errands and shopping with the client.

Responsibilities:

Provide assistance with daily living activities to clients.
Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, meal preparation, and cleaning.
Accompany clients to appointments and outings, including grocery shopping and doctor's visits.
Be comfortable and able to adjust to the client's changing needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the healthcare professional.
Requirements:

Clean background
CPR/ First Aid Certification – BLS Preferred
Valid driver's license and insurance
Ability to work 8 A.M to 8 A.M (24 hour) Sleep shift. Can work 2 to 4 days at a time.
Comfortable with constant redirection and being out in the community running errands and shopping
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
High school diploma or equivalent
