Registered Nurse – Children's Ward
Salary Band – $81,000 - $106,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver


Dunedin Hospital
0.5 FTE / 40 Hours per fortnight

About the role

Here in Dunedin Hospital's Children's Ward, we are fortunate to have a modern and bright workspace with excellent facilities to ensure the very best possible care for our young patients and their families/whanau.

Collaborate as part of a friendly and supportive team on a multi-specialty ward.
The ward caters for children in our region aged 0-15 years.
This role will be placed on rostered shifts, 24/7.

About you

Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC,
Previous experience in Paediatric nursing
Must have the right to work in New Zealand as this role does not qualify for sponsorship
Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
Experience in a paediatric setting with prior involvement in child and family health
A passion and focus for working with families/whanau with compassion and kindness

Salary Range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between step 2 ($81,683 p.a) and step 7 ($106,739 p.a) pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
