Position Overview

Denali Family Services is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Training Specialist to support workforce development across our behavioral health programs. This role plays a critical part in equipping staff and therapeutic foster parents with evidence-based skills that directly impact children and families in our community.


The Training Specialist delivers high-quality in-person training, supports onboarding, and ensures compliance with required certifications and credentialing standards.

What You’ll Do

Facilitate engaging, in-person trainings for staff and therapeutic foster parents
Deliver curriculum with fidelity to evidence-based standards
Support onboarding and ongoing workforce development initiatives
Maintain training records, compliance documentation, and certification tracking
Collaborate with leadership to assess and respond to workforce training needs

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, or related field
At least one year of experience in behavioral health, child welfare, or related human services
Experience teaching, facilitating, or delivering training to adult learners
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to engage diverse audiences
