HEAVY EQUIPMENT SERVICE TECHNICIAN/MECHANICS

Tyler Rental is seeking self-motivated, experienced (5 years minimum) Heavy Equipment Mechanics to join our team! We are looking for full time Journeyman level Diesel Technicians with comprehensive understanding of hydraulic, electrical & power train systems,

Brakes, diesel & gas engines. Basic knowledge of industrial equipment & trucks, able to work independently & a team player, able to perform physically demanding work.

Maintain records & read/comprehend technical manuals and wiring schematics.

Qualifications

Driver’s license (required)
High school or equivalent (preferred)
Mechanic: 5 years (preferred)
Field Tech: 1 year (preferred)
We Require

Preferred 5 years’ experience or more in Heavy Equipment repair and maintenance or graduation from an accredited training program

Background Check and Drug screening (zero tolerance)

Essential Functions

Follow directions of the service manager in a safe and timely manner
Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area.
Attend schools/training as related to job requirements.
Submission of parts requisition and returns when necessary to complete work as assigned.
Able to travel to remote locations to trouble shoot and repair any type of equipment.
Able to read and understand parts and service manuals to recommend repairs of equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair all aspects of heavy construction/mining equipment.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
The employee must frequently lift and /or move items over 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision,
Distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
