Travel: 90–100% across the USA

About the Role

We’re supporting a global leader in tube and sheet‑metal processing who is expanding their U.S. service team. As a Field Service Technician, you’ll install new equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support customers onsite.
You’ll be the face of the company, ensuring fast, accurate service and excellent customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

Install new CNC and laser equipment at customer sites
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs
Support sales staff with equipment service needs
Document all service work and future service requirements
Demonstrate software capabilities to customers
Complete timesheets, service reports, installation forms, and expenses
Communicate with internal departments as needed
Maintain a safe work environment (OSHA/MIOSHA)
Work overtime when required
What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma required; Associate Degree or military technical experience preferred
2–4 years in a technical role
At least 1 year in a customer‑facing position
Ability to travel up to 100%
Experience with Trumpf, Amada, Mazak or similar laser machinery
Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read technical manuals and interpret I/O structures
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Highly organised, strong communicator, able to work independently
