Healthcare Assistant - Full Time

Location: Radius Baycare, 361 Puketona Rd, Haruru Falls, Paihia

Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours per week, over a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Pay rate: $28.58- $30.87 per hour (subject to completed caregiving qualifications)

About the role:

Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.

Duties include:

Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence

Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner

Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information

Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records

Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes

Skills and Experience:

New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience; OR New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent).

Good written and verbal communication skills
