Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Schedule: M–F, 5/8s or 4/10s
$22–$33/hr + $2,500 SIGN‑ON BONUS
Vera Whole Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and deliver exceptional patient care. This role combines clinical duties, patient interaction, and front‑office support in a collaborative, wellness‑focused environment.
How will you make an impact & Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Take vital signs, document in EMR, perform point‑of‑care testing.
Administer immunizations, injections, and medications.
Perform phlebotomy and prepare lab specimens.
Assist with diagnostic tests and patient education.
Manage patient flow, prepare exam rooms, and support front‑desk tasks.
Coordinate referrals, care gaps, and patient outreach.
Maintain safety, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and QA standards.
Participate in team meetings, training, and clinic performance goals.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
Graduate of an accredited MA program.
MA certification required (AAMA preferred).
Phlebotomy certification within 90 days (if required).
2+ years’ experience (primary/urgent care preferred).
EMR experience required.
Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
Employee Health Requirements
Hep B immunity, recent TB test, CPR/BLS certification.
Annual influenza and COVID‑19 vaccinations.
