This role requires flexibility to travel, so we make sure to cover your expenses - flights, accommodation, vehicles and fuel, and provide a daily allowance when working away on project sites. You’ll be part of a supportive team culture where we work hard, look out for each other, and build experience across a wide range of renewable energy projects.

Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Generation crew as a Supevisor. This is a hands-on role, where you will carry out electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding work on renewable energy assets while also supervising a small crew.

Key responsibilities include:

Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment in generation and substation environments
Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, specifications and technical plans
Testing electrical systems using specialised test equipment to ensure compliance and safety
Ensuring all work complies with New Zealand electrical standards and regulations
Supervising and coordinating a small team of electricians and field staff onsite
Planning daily work activities, materials and equipment requirements
Monitoring work quality, safety and progress to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget.
This role supports service and construction projects across multiple sites nationwide and requires flexibility to travel and work away from home. Our core crew is based in Palmerston North, with planned works across the Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington, Hawke’s Bay, Waikato and Southland regions, with the possibility of other regions pending successful tenders.

Here’s your chance to explore one of the most beautiful countries in the world, keeping communities connected - while getting paid!

If you’re not based in or near Palmerston North but are open to relocating, we’d still love to hear from you!
