Security Guard Supervisor (Unarmed) - JOB LOCATION: TUCSON AZ

We are looking for a reliable, professional and customer service focused security guard supervisor to help train our guards, follow-up with them to make certain they are on-track as well as protect our clients’ premises, assets and personnel.

You will possess a professional and friendly demeanor while also offering a high visibility presence and serve as a deterrent to all illegal or inappropriate actions while working in the field. Our goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Field train new hires as well as remedial training for those that may need it
Follow-up with the trainees weekly to check on their progress
Report to the operations managers all issues that may need to be addressed
Provide roving patrols for lockups and posts
Post on property as needed
Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
Apprehend criminals and trespass violators
Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
Report in detail any suspicious incidents
Patrol randomly or regularly buildings and perimeters
Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
Must lead by example
Skills

Experience as a trainer in the security field or similar industry helpful but not mandatory
Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
Trained security officer with active Arizona unarmed guard license
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols helpful
Surveillance skills and detail orientation
Demonstrate integrity and professionalism
Possess outstanding customer service skills
Professional appearance
