CITY/REGIONAL DRIVER

As a member of our city/regional driving team, you will:

Receive guaranteed fair pay for a full day’s work. (driver compensation is reviewed annually)
Operate well maintained equipment (we have a PMVI certified Shop)
Get flexible and consistent hours (between 45-50 hrs/week)
Be required to do very little hand bombing
Have an excellent insurance and benefits program for you and your family
Get paid for 10 federally regulated general holidays (statutory holidays)
Get 2 days off/week if so desired

Requirements:
The ability to work legally in Canada
A Class 1 driver license with air endorsement
A minimum 6 months over the road (OTR) experience
A clean commercial driving abstract (or one with minimal safety violations may be considered)
A criminal record search must be undertaken
Experience driving trucks with manual (9,10 & 13 speed) transmissions
Acceptable English language comprehension/skills
Above average customer service-related skills
Must be able to work as part of a team
Reefer experience is considered an asset
ELD (electronic logging device) experience is considered an asset
Weekend availability is required
