As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Seamstress to join our team and help us deliver the high-quality results our clients expect.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Seamstress to assist our production team in creating high-quality furniture pieces. You will work closely with our patternmakers to transform raw materials into perfectly fitted upholstery covers.

Key Responsibilities

Production: Precisely cut and sew upholstery materials (fabrics, leathers, and vinyls) according to patternmaker instructions and tech specs.

Order Management: Review and process work orders to ensure project accuracy and timely completion.

Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the design and upholstery teams to ensure a seamless workflow from pattern to final assembly.

Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of stitch work, ensuring seams are straight, durable, and meet our aesthetic benchmarks.

Requirements

Experience: Proven experience in upholstery sewing or a closely related industrial sewing field.

Technical Skill: Strong attention to detail and a "measure twice, cut once" mindset.

Communication: A positive attitude and the ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions.

Growth Mindset: A willingness to learn our specific proprietary techniques and shop standards.

Location: Candidates must currently reside in Winnipeg, MB.
