Senior Project Designer
Location: Kleefeld or Winnipeg, MB
Term: Full Time
Reporting to the: COMMERCIAL DESIGN LEAD

What You’ll Do
Lead Innovative Design
Drive the conceptual and technical design of timber frame and mass timber commercial and institutional projects
Help evolve internal design standards and bring fresh ideas to timber practices
Collaborate Across Teams
Work directly with architects, engineers, clients, and builders
Coordinate with internal sales, estimating, production, and installation teams to align vision with execution
Execute with Precision
Produce and review detailed shop drawings and construction documents
Troubleshoot design challenges and ensure the highest standards of quality
Mentor & Support
Guide and mentor junior designers and drafters
Review work, share knowledge, and foster a culture of excellence
What You Bring
· 10+ years in architectural design/drafting or 5+ years of timber industry experience
· Experience leading large-scale projects ($5M+ in construction value)
· Strong shop drawing and technical documentation skills
· Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, or similar 3D modeling tools
· Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
· Cadwork experience is a strong asset
· Experience with prefabricated building systems is an advantage
· A post-secondary education in Computer Aided Design, Architecture, or related field
· A detail-oriented, proactive mindset and excellent communication skills
· A collaborative spirit
