Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues. Duties

Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals
Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to identify issues accurately
Carry out equipment repair and welding as required to restore vehicle functionality
Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement projects
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role within the automotive industry
Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialised diagnostic tools
Knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment repair techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good communication skills for effective customer interaction
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology or mechanics are preferred but not essential
