Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical aptitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. The Service Technician will play a vital part in supporting our clients’ needs through efficient and effective technical solutions. The Service Technician will play a part in New Machine Commissioning and be point of contact for Customers when Machines break down.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Good knowledge and understanding of mechanics, electrics and hydraulics
Diagnosing faults and repairing / maintenance of company equipment on and off site
Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork
Major component overhaul skills (Engine, Gearbox, Braking systems)
Specialist skills (Pneumatic Welding, Hydraulics, Electrical systems
Possess personal basic engineering tool kit (Spanners, sockets, screwdrivers etc.).
Hold and NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Agriculture or HGV
Qualifications & Requirements

Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
Must have a flexible approach
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Electrical experience
Welder / Fabricator
Good Communicator
Follow both written and verbal instruction

Pay: Up to £35,000.00 per year
