Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical expertise
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on vehicle systems
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients if needed
Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic; dealership experience is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge
Ability to operate power tools, hand tools safely and effectively
Experience with automotive repair including diagnostics, engine work, and electrical troubleshooting
Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks regularly
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail
Valid driver’s license
Valid mechanics license
Clean drivers abstract
Level 3 mechanics would be an asset
Red seal mechanic preferred
Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
