Cardinal Mechanical is seeking a skilled Plumber Apprentice to join our team, you will work alongside experienced plumbers, gain hands-on experience and learn the essential skills required to succeed in the trade. You will assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance on both commercial and large-scale residential projects. Key Responsibilities
Assist Journeyman Plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.
Follow instructions and adhere to project plans to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and building code requirements.
Actively engage in learning opportunities to develop technical and trade skills.
Attend training sessions and classes as part of your apprenticeship program.
Take initiative to gain knowledge about industry with the best practices and new technologies.
Work closely with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure seamless workflow.
Utilize tools and equipment properly, ensuring their maintenance and care.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (if applicable) to assist with planning and installations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe job site for all team members.
Qualifications and Requirements
Apprenticeship Level: Must be Level 2, 3, or 4 Plumbing Apprentice.
Previous experience of commercial and large-scale residential buildings is considered an asset.
Blueprint reading skills are an asset but not mandatory.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
