Job Description

Youth for Christ Winnipeg is looking for a passionate individual to serve in our Film & Media ministry as a Program Coordinator. Located at 333 King St, our Film & Media ministry serves to see every young person living fully in Christ by establishing a strong community for youth to experience, learn, and be mentored in the digital creative arts while discipling them towards a relationship with Christ and into a local body of believers.
A successful candidate for this position will recognize first and foremost that they will play a significant and vital role in the success of YFC Winnipeg; what you will do here will have an important impact on the young people who engage with the ministries at YFC. If you are passionate about helping others, and want to use your experience, skills, and knowledge to support the ministry of YFC in changing the lives of youth, then this may be the position for you.
Responsibilities
Help plan and implement various Film & Media programming, including but not limited to weekly drop-in activities, weekly group nights for The Crew program, fundraising events, and summer day camp activities.
Seek to engage and equip youth to know and follow Jesus through intentional mentorship and discipleship.
Assist with organizational communications needs such as photos, videography, social media, or website design and updates.

Requirements
Maintain a close, ******** relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Be an active participant in the life of a local church.
Affirm and support our organization’s Community Covenant and Statement of Faith, and be committed to YFC’s mission.
Embrace YFC’s core values with a strong heart for evangelism.
Ability to teach and communitate, in truth and love, skills related to film and media
Strong skills in filmmaking, editing
Advanced knowledge in operation of Canon cameras, audio equipment, and Resolve editing software
Strong communication, organizational and administrative skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
