Minconsult is officially hiring Field Geologists for our Exploration Teams in Alaska, Northen B.C. and the Yukon!

Junior and Senior Geo positions are also available, intended for recent graduates with previous field experience looking to advance their careers in exploration and geological modeling, or seasoned individuals looking to join a reliable and effective team.

We are offering..
· Competetive daily rates with room for growth depending on experience and title.
· Rotation of 28 days on / 7–14 days off.
· Outdoor Camp Accomodations with shared, centrally heated tents and communal amenities provided such as showers, kitchen, dining hall, wifi and more.
· Travel: Flights and travels costs covered from the point of hire.
· Environment: Remote camp work involving long days in moderate to extreme conditions and all terrain types in the beautiful Northern Wilderness.

Job Duties
· Core Logging: Detailed logging and interpretation of exploration diamond drill holes, including rock type, alterations, structures, veining, and sampling.
· Field Exploration: Performing geological field work such as silt/soil sample collection and surface mapping.
· Data and Modeling: Providing recommendations for potential sites, assisting in the development of geological models, and preparing geological reports and maps.
· Technical Support: Collaborating efficiently with team members to interpret rock mass conditions and ensuring high-quality data collection.

Requirements
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Geosciences or an equivalent field is required.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and GIS software such as QGIS.
· Field Readiness: Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in remote locations and varying weather conditions.
· Professionalism: Must show up fit and ready for work, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and service all assigned tools and equipment properly.
· License: Valid driver’s license required.
