TI delivers industry-leading infrastructure products and services to the company’s employees, customers and clients around the world.Job Description Support Oracle database SRE automations that drive efficiencies by eliminating TOIL across Oracle Hosting Services Database and Oracle Application DBA database operations within LOBs (CSW, GBAM and ERFT) in three regions AMRS, EMEA and APAC.ResponsibilitiesInteraction and communication with Oracle operations teams (System DBA & Application DBA)Build pipeline of workDevelop automations meeting the desired requirements using SDLC principlesWork towards eliminating TOIL using SRE principlesDesign solutions that drive efficiencies in the ADS Operations worldRequirements Experience :12+ years of Oracle database experience covering administration and automationEducation: GraduateCertifications If Any : NAFoundational Skills12+ years of experience in Oracle Database administration including ExadataStrong Oracle 11g, 12c, 1+c database conceptsDeep understanding of Oracle database internals, clusterware, replication and monitoringStrong knowledge on backup and recovery proceduresGood understanding of the underlying operating systemStrong hands-on scripting experience using Python, Shell, PL/SQL programming languagesUnderstanding of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principlesExperience in Agile/Scrum methodologyHands-on experience using Horizon tools such as JIRA, GitHub, AnsibleExposure towards code review and testing toolsExperience on operational excellence processesArchitectural and System design experienceDesired SkillsExperience in database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycleShould have good communication skills with management, development teams, vendors and systems administratorsExcellent oral/written communication skillsShould be able to work independently and support complex and highly critical environmentStrong Technical skills and troubleshooting skillsExposure towards Six-Sigma principlesWork Timings:11:30 AM to 8:30 PMJob Location: HYD/MUM/CHE/GIFT/GGM
