Credit Cards - Portfolio Analysis Manager

Job Title - Risk Manager Portfolio Analysis

Department - Credit Card Risk

Location - Gurgaon

Reporting to - VP/SVP Credit Card Risk

Position Purpose

The purpose of this role is to strengthen the Bank's Second Line of Defense for Credit Card Risk Management by providing effective challenge and oversight to First Line of Defense. The position comes under the Portfolio Risk Review Department which is headed by the Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Apply Data Analytics to identify emerging risk trends at segment and portfolio level
• Conduct root cause analysis to help understand drivers of risk
• Perform detailed case reviews using a sample based approach to identify enhance opportunities in risk management
• Active collaboration with Sr management to work on various Internal/External reviews & Audits, by supporting data requirements, Ad-hoc analysis etc
• Set up automated Portfolio Monitoring Dashboards

Qualification & Experience Required

Qualification - Graduate/Post Graduate (Engineers/MBA/Statistics/Economics/Maths)

Engineers from National Institute of Technology or equivalent institutes

Post Graduates (MSc, MA) in Quantitative fields (e.g. Maths, Economics, Statistics etc) with 55% or higher marks from established Universities

MBAs from tier 2 colleges

Overall Experience - 2-4 years of experience in Financial services domain

Preferred - Credit Card Experience

Essential - Data Analytics Experience, Financial Services Experience

Competency Requirements

Technical Skills

SQL, R, SAS

Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point. Hands-on with Analytical techniques to process large data quickly

Understating of Credit Cards Business & Policy

Documentation & presentation skills

Strong analytical skills & algorithmic approach to Problem solving
