Bank Support Worker

Cygnet Health Care have been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.Hansa Lodge is a 5 bed residential service providing outcome focused care for women with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs

We are currently recruiting for casual/bank support workers who are looking for flexibility and can offer 12 hour day or nights shifts to cover for annual leave, sickness, training etc

In this role you’ll: Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our residents Promote and ensure the good reputation of the home and demonstrate positive attitudes towards residents, their families, staff, visitors and others

Support residents who need assistance with independent living skills/ personal hygiene encouraging independence

Maintain a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for our residents to live in, which will involve undertaking some domestic duties and complying with policies and procedures

Safeguard residents Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way Read care planning needs for residents and complete written daily records as instructed by trained Staff
