Job Description
Perform routine examinations of materials and samples
• Perform quality control tests on ingredients, completed products and product samples.
• Arrange and carry out experiments and tests as needed for data processing
• Examine and verify that all tests and experiments meet the required specifications and follow correct procedures
• Performed chemical and physical tests on incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure that the products meet established quality specifications.
• Perform quality control tests in the lab as well as on-site when necessary
• Prepare samples prior to shipping them to customers
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure product integrity and quality control
• Analyze retrieved data and prepare reports for laboratory management
• Recognize and report any safety issue’s
• Performs tests to generate and collect all data to meet customer requirements
• Works effectively as part of a team as well as independently
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to meet on-call obligations as needed
• Experience with proper equipment use
• Maintains laboratory equipment in orderly and clean condition
• Associate degree required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Two+ years of experience with emphasis on laboratory skills
• Employee must be Packaging Industry related field work experience
