Matippu - a creative learning platform for kids. I’m looking for someone who is creative energy and can teach art like music dance crafts drama and visual arts to pre-primary and primary school children and enjoy dealing with the young kids.

I’m not looking for a fine artist or even a traditional teacher. No, I need someone who can help my students see the world differently. I’m looking for someone who can help them see their potential and inspire them to be the best they can be. If that’s you or if you know of anyone who might be a good fit for us should let me know.

Your day-to-day duties as a Coach Teacher will include:

Planning appropriate lessons to meet national curriculum guidelines and keeping up to date with changes.
Creating engaging lessons to involve pupils of all abilities coordinating with colleagues and TAs where needed.
Setting up the PPTs organizing displays and equipment.
Using a mix of resources to enhance pupils’ exploration of the topic.
Using different teaching methods including whole class group work independent research demonstrations experiments and play to motivate and encourage interaction in the class.
Encouraging children to work together to achieve goals.
Providing help and support to individual pupils as required taking responsibility for their holistic progress.
Carrying out assessments and setting homework.
Completing administrative work. E.g. making content through PPTs or animation marking work and video lectures.
Creating a learning environment that pupils respect.
Setting expectations for discipline and behavior including dealing with inappropriate behavior according to school policy.
Providing a safe healthy environment and following safeguarding procedures.
Organizing outings after school clubs social activities and sports events.
Participating in training and development activities.
Attending meetings and parent’s evenings.
Liaising with senior leadership parents and external bodies in relation to progress behavior child protection and health.
