BIM Technician | AECOsim

Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering. Or I.T.I. Civil / Mechanical draftsman.
• For Diploma 4-5 years’ experience. And I.T.I. 6 + years’ experience.
• Civil and Mechanical Computer Aided Design experience on water, wastewater design, roadway, and storm water drainage.
• 3D Modelling and design experience using AECOsim Building Designer.
• Candidate should be able to visualize and produce clash free 3D model using Navisworks / AECOsim Building Designer or latest 3D version of Bentley.
• Should be well familiar with Microstation Bentley 2D latest versions.
• Candidate should be able to Generate 2D views on Client sheets using Microstation V8i or latest Bentley Microstation Connect edition.
• Experience in Point cloud to BIM is a preferred skill.
• Knowledge and project experience of working and delivering in a BIM environment.
• Experience of working on master planning and design projects in UK / US is preferred.
• Should be a good team player.
• Good oral and written English communication skills.
• Should be ready to travel abroad as and when required.
• Full knowledge of specialist areas of the BIM process for project delivery.
• Full understanding and support in the development of CAD/BIM standards and procedures.
• Attend project meetings and calls as required.
• Must adhere to company QAQC process and BIM strategies.
• Responsible for QAQC of the work done by the detailers and modelers working on the project and ensure quality and schedules are met with. Primary Purpose of Job:
Contribute to the ongoing growth of STANTEC ResourceNet India Private Ltd by providing technical expertise in the various sectors, as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering conceptual design, outline design, detailed design and construction support for buildings, water/ wastewater treatment projects across the STANTEC offices (UK, US, Middle East, Asia Pacific etc.). To be involved in the implementation and delivery of leading-edge programs and projects.
Stantec is looking for BIM Technician - AECOsim with expertise in Civil and Mechanical design and detailing using AECOsim software based in the Pune, India office.
Key Accountabilities:
• Preparation of Civil and Mechanical 3D modelling of Water, Wastewater design.
• Basic Plant / Site layouts, General arrangement drawings from 3D models.
• To understand design and drafting systems and standards followed by Clients and implement in work.
• Understand design Development.
• Data / Document management system experience.
• Knowledge of Water / Wastewater treatment process and Networks.
• Ability to work alone and use his/her initiative.
• Ability and interest in leading teams.
• Completing assigned tasks on agreed time, quality, and budget.
• Responsible for checking the project work and ensuring compliance with standards set in the project and adhere to Company's Quality Procedures.
