ROLE OBJECTIVE

We are looking for a highly motivated Lab Technician who can perform the Mechanical tests per test plan, generate reports, communicate to the requestors at regular basis on the progress of the requested tests.
Trouble shooting and proactiveness in handling the test equipments & metrology lab.
RESPONSIBILITIES
. Prioritize on various lab requests, project allocation to team member & mentoring
. Timely communication and co-ordination to the requestors
. Should have independently operated Universal testing machine (UTM). Additionally, should be able to prepare samples, set-up test rigs, perform and compile reports.
. Must understand mechanical test specification, like DIN, EN, IEC and other relevant Industry standard
. Experience in dust/ water tightness testing, cross sectioning, microscopic analysis of metals / plastics is an added advantage
. Networking with internal customers (India / affiliates) and external customers for understanding test requirements
. Good learning agility / passion to explore / learning on the fly
. Innovative and implement continuous improvement
. Good communication and presentation skills
. Ability to create and sustain best practices

Job Description

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE
. ITI-Mechanical
. Experience in connectors & terminals is preferred.
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE
. 15+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical testing.
. Should have independently operated Metrology lab equipments.
. Experience in dust/ water tightness testing, cross sectioning, microscopic analysis of metals / plastics is an added advantage.
