Senior Consultant - MySQL DBA - (CREQ133702)Description JOB DESCRIPTION Skill: MY SQL DBA Role: T2 Discover what it means to work with some of the smartest people in the industry and help solve some of the most challenging customer problems. You will work in a fast-paced environment where we are responsible for companies most critical systems. What You Will Do as a DBA: Install, configure and maintain MySQL servers Monitor availability and performance of production databases and servers Daily database maintenance, user assistance and troubleshooting Analyse and resolve complex technical problems, including performance tuning, and application design and debugging Conduct/support OS and hardware maintenance in coordination with system group Participate and perform migrations into Development/Production environments Monitor database backups and maintain recovery procedures Administer and follow MySQL Server and other security standards Plan database and server level capacity according to statistics and user requests Work through disaster recovery plans with other groups and departments Create and configure new accounts, databases and other server objects Communicate/work effectively in a team environment. Qualifications: BE. in Computer Science or related discipline 4+ year of hands-on database administration experience using MySQL Server Database Automation, programming skills, Ruby/ Python, Cloud: AWS/ Azure, DevOps Availability of DB 24x7 Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of all database resources to keep the flow of work uninterrupted owing to technology Major Incidents - Response and restoration should meet the SLA provided
