Oracle Database Administrator
Location:
PUNE, MUMBAI
Qualification:
Any graduate/Diploma/BE/MCA/MCM/MCS/MSc
Skill sets:
Oracle 11g/12c, PL-SQL,R-MAN Backup,Hot/Cold Backup, Performance Tuning,Log Monitoring
Responsibilities:
At least 1 to 2 years of software industry experience
Certification PL-SQL, OCA & OCP
Database creation and maintenance
DBMS infrastructure creation and support
Process and technical documentation
Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system
Work with the team to ensure that the associated hardware resources allocated to the databases and to ensure high availability and optimum performance
To pro-actively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
Responsible for providing trend analysis to the service management team to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management
Responsible for problem escalation to Oracle Development team and third parties as appropriate
Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include roll-out and upgrades
Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service
