Process Overview
Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Markets business including Equity, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.
Job Description
Python Developer for ROCS Technology group to work on QzRex. QzRex is in-house developed Reconciliation application used by various business functions in Global Markets Operations. This application is developed using Python based homegrown Quartz platform. India team engages closely with the LOB counterparts contributing towards Strategic and BAU project deliverables. Team will be developing the features, enhancement and perform L3 production support. We are looking for a Python Developer with strong experience in working closely with Business and Product Owner in understanding Program and Project functional and technical requirements and able to translate them into Architectural design, perform POCs, and develop scalable, robust solutions. The candidate should have good design skills, ability to explore and adopt new technologies at faster phase.
Responsibilities
• Primary responsibility would be to design, develop / enhance GCM application
• Should be very strong hands on developer
• Work closely with Product Owner and users to design solutions by looking into product backlog
• Build excellent relationships across technology and user communities within the group
• Deliver high quality code to meet application standards
• Coordinate with global business users during for support/enhancement activities.
• Follow Scrum process & able to focus on Operational Excellence.
• Proven team player with the ability to foster a team environment.
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to seniors, Peers and Team Members
• Should have worked in Agile Environment and understand Scrum model
• Should be able to Support the product during India Hours
