Senior Engineer II | Embedded Hardware

Duties and Responsibilities
• Complete Hardware Design & Development of NPD.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, validation (at board and system level).
• Responsible for schematics captures, layout check, BOM creation and debugging and testing.
• Create fluent technical documentation including product specifications, layout instructions, test procedures, etc;
• Work closely with firmware, software, and mechanical team to achieve common goals
• Participate in product design reviews, own hardware issues to provide solutions either in design or at production.
• Participate in lab development, test automation and productivity improvement initiatives
• Will be responsible for hardware design, bring up, certification and production release.
• Assist in troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis for product enhancement.
• Work closely with Client and cross-functional teams and ensure to meet the project deadlines.

Skills and Experience
• Must have 4-8 years of HW design experience on Power Electronics, Analog and Mixed signal circuit design.
• Expertise in SMPS,DC-DC,Inverter / Motor Drives,AC/DC/BLDC Motors products architecture and design
• Expertise in battery Charger, ADCs, buffers, drivers, Micro controller design and different hardware protocols (UART, I2C, SPI etc)
• Knowledge on Power Electronics Magnetics Design , (BJT, MOSFET, IGBT…etc.)
• Familiarity with communication protocols at hardware level- BLE, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, GPS..

etc.
• Proven track record of working with test lab equipment and simulation tools
• Hands on Experience in Schematic design, PCB review, Circuit simulation.
• Design optimization techniques for performance, cost and manufacturability
• Must demonstrate consistent (and sustainable) application of problem solving and analytical skills.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
