Senior Mobile Applications Developer

Stack Summation is hiring senior mobile developers who are responsible for creating the software that powers smartphones and other mobile devices which are responsible for building applications or features that make it easier for people to interact with their phones—everything from simple utilities like alarm clocks to more complex programs like voice assistants.

This profile will also be involved in the design process, working closely with UX designers and product managers to ensure that their apps meet user needs and provide a positive experience.

Job Responsibilities:-

A senior mobile developer typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
• Designing and developing mobile applications for Android platforms using mobile development frameworks such as Java, Kotlin (For native Android).
• Testing application code for bugs or defects and fixing any issues that arise.
• Analysing data from user feedback surveys to determine the effectiveness of new features or product designs.
• Creating prototypes of new mobile applications to demonstrate functionality and design concepts to clients or internal team members.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting problems with existing applications, including bugs or crashes caused by device incompatibility.
• Managing projects involving multiple developers in order to ensure that all deadlines are met.
• Creating and maintaining a list of bugs or issues identified during testing, along with a description of the steps required to reproduce them.
• Reviewing application requirements from clients and creating designs based on these requirements.
• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for clients.
• Manage a complete deployment cycle and co-ordinate with Devops team.

Skills:-
• Extensive knowledge about mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s)
• Deep knowledge of Android appliation designing and development with Java / Kotlin.
• Proficiency with writing automated tests.
• Familiarity with Restful APIs and mobile libraries for networking and service utilisation.
• Familiarity in managing complex JSON format.
• Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns—MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture—and the ability to choose the best solution for the app
• Familiarity with Git
• Familiarity with push notifications
• Understanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences

Would be a plus:-
• Knowledge and experience in using Flutter or React native
• Leading a team and guide them to use best practices.
• Certification in Android / mobile applications development
