Job Description:

Interpretation of tender specification, raise queries / clarifications / deviations, preparation of I&C/electrical BOQ, Customer interactions, Preparation of proposal enquiry specs, offer review, inter discipline & vendor interactions

Basic & Detail Engineering activities in I&C/Electrical:

Thorough understanding of 660 MW and above Boiler Controls for Burner Management and Boiler Protection logic and its logic preparation in DCS, interface engineering with balance of plant logic, Turbine logic and fields, basic electrical engineering of at least 660MW Super Critical Power Plant. Understanding of P&IDs, I&C Engineering Codes & Standard, Process Flow Diagrams, KKS Numbering Philosophy. Selection of Field Instruments, Sizing of Control Valves, Steam/Water /Air Flow Elements. Preparation of Specifications, data sheets, review / evaluation of offers, Vendor document review of Transmitters, Gauges, Switches, SOx/NOx/NH3/O2/CO Gas Analyzers, T/C , RTD etc. Load Cells Vibration Monitoring Systems, Control Valves / Dampers, Various Instrumentation packages - Acoustic Steam Leak Detection systems, Acoustic Pyrometers, Coal Bunker Level Monitoring systems, Furnace Exit Gas Temperature measurement system. Interface engineering with DCS / SWGR/MCC/HT/LT Motors/Cable sizing/UPS/Battery Chargers and review of Fans, AirPre Heaters, SCR, FGD, ESP, AHP, CHP, FOPH. In depth knowledge of SWGR/MCC/HT/LT Motors/Cable sizing/UPS/Battery Chargers
