Manages the bank's award-winning websites and e-Commerce initiatives. Responsible for the technology that drives key client-facing platforms and channels across Retail, Preferred, and GWIM including our Mobile, Contact Center and Voice, ATM, Financial Center & ERICA Technologies
Job Description
• A Software Engineer II is responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.
• Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• This role codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces.
• They are familiar with development and testing practices of the bank.
• A Software Engineer II is an individual contributor to a team.
Responsibilities
• Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.
• Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements.
• Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.
• Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance); Analyzes test reports, identifies any test issues/errors; Triages the underlying cause.
• Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
• Participates, contributes and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes.

Foundational skills
• Objective C and Swift programming knowledge, UI Kit / Cocoa Touch APIs, iOS 118 SDK, Blocks, Protocols, Delegates, Storyboards & XIBs, Auto Layout & Size classes, creating custom controls & frameworks, Networking, Multithreading, Core Data, MVC, REST services & Json,
• OOPs programming concepts, Knowledge of design patterns like Singleton, Factory, etc.
• Testing & Instruments – XCTest, Continuous Integration, Memory and Performance analysis, Crash management
• Deployment – Provisioning profiles, code signing
• Experience on analyzing crash logs and working on various Instrumentation tools provided by Apple.
• Knowledge of various technical alternatives required to solve issues and problems in the most efficient manner.
• Understanding of application architecture and industry best practices.
Desired skills:
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Offshore- Onshore coordination
• Experience working in banking domain is plus.
