Technical: Conversant with high voltage switchgear fundamentals. Make design improvements in existing products/design new products. Understanding the requirements and expectations of customers and get them translated in design documents. Understanding National & International standards, Analytical skill to solve complex issues, Knowledge on different materials and manufacturing processes related to Switchgear Industry, ERP System. Your responsibilities
• Supervise all stages of new product development right from evaluating technical feasibility, design, prototyping, component development and type testing.
• Design, development, verification, testing and validation of product or product components.
• Preparation of technical documents / instructions for product.
• Evaluation of product related technical specification requirements from customers.
• Co-ordination with various functions viz. Marketing, Order handling, Operations, SCM, quality, service, finance, Technology Centre, Technical Lead Centre.
• Interaction with customers for product approval & technical clearances.
• Conduct RCA of product failures and prepare analysis reports.
• Maintenance of master data related to product in SAP.
• Co-ordination in Type testing of HV Circuit breakers.

Your background
• Educational qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience required: 10 to 15 years in Engineering/Design of HV Products (Preferably HV Circuit Breakers).
