Technical RFP content writer | Packet Core

Role Summary

Mavenir is looking for hands-on back-office content writer to provide RFP compliance and technical

responses for Packet Core as part of the global bid management team. The ability to demonstrate

exceptional interpersonal and professional communications skills to interact and effectively

influence team members at various levels of the organization is required.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide point by point RFP compliances and standard technical responses to customer solicitations.
• Review and validate first pass responses pulled from the RFP repository to ensure contents are aligned to the current product functionalities.
• Continuously build upon RFP repository to maintain higher first pass percentage rates globally.
• Write, edit and proofread existing proposal content in the RFP repository to improve response quality.
• Create content from Mavenir solutions collaterals for unsolicited proposals and RFP repository.
• Work closely with the RFP automation team lead to understand and comply with tool specifics.
• Work on multiple deliverables at a time and meet tight deadlines with flexibility to adapt tochanging submission dates.
• Comply with established internal mandatory global bid management guidelines.
• Other bid management duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
• Experience and solid understanding of Packet Core (EPC/5G) technologies and deployment methodologies to build E2E solutions.
• Knowledge and understanding of the 3GPP standards.
• Strong understanding of NFVi in carrier grade environments (both in virtualization and containerization/cloud deployment).
• Familiar with response automation management platforms and tools.
• Proficiency in proposal content writing experience as a writer and/or editor.
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues.
• Team player with exceptional verbal communication skills to interact and influence team members effectively.
• Highly organized professional with strong time management ability to work against challenging deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience proven and demonstrable in technical pre-sales in the telecommunications industry
