Principal Technician ITS must have professional experience of working as a CAD Technician and responsible to produce Intelligent transport system engineering drawings and associated schedules. RESPONSIBILITIES: Completion of Quality Check Sheets and production of information for Handover Documentation. Maintaining accurate records drawing registers, schedules, check sheets. Preparation of Technology General Arrangement drawings, Schematics, CCTV Assessment drawings etc. Working independently, responsible for initiating and completing tasks and procedures, including where relevant responsibility for supervising or guiding others; Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes; Completes assignments and facilitates the work activities of others. Communicating internally and externally with the project team to understand design requirements willingness to train junior staff members when the need arises Take ownership on delivering the CAD deliverables for ITS technology to UK. Here's What You'll Need: Certificate course in Draftsman / Diploma in Civil, E&C;, EEE in Engineering with around10-16 years experience in Drafting ITS Technology Infrastructure projects preferable Global Design Center experience Software Skills: AutoCAD & Civil 3D/ Working knowledge of CDE platform Common Data Environment i.e. ProjectWise or BIM360. Basic Knowledge of other software MicroStation, MX Road & Navisworks would be an asset Technical Skills Proficient use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation is essential. Understanding of UK & ME CAD Standards Experience in Microsoft Office packages Understanding and working use of GG184 and civil 3D Templates. Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments Must be a good team player, with developed communication skills. Why Jacobs Jacobs.
