ROLE: CAD Technician working on Transportation/ ITS Technology projects RESPONSIBILITIES: Several years working within engineering and design sector, preferably with a background in Highways and ITS Technology design. Experience on Highway/ ITS Technology CAD layouts. Experience of working with ProjectWise is preferable. Working knowledge of BIM and drawing processes Proficient in the use of CAD/BIM software, particularly AutoCAD, Micro-station and Navisworks. An experienced view and clear understanding of the highways and Technology of designs, models and drawings. Checking/reviewing of models and drawings produced by others. Working knowledge of MS Office software packages. Ability to plan work to make optimum use of time. Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively as part of a team. Here's What You'll Need: ITI, Diploma CIVIL / EEE / E&C; Draftsman 4 to 8 years on infrastructure projects and detail design of ITS Technology Design. AutoCAD & Civil 3D Basics Working experience with Highways / ITS Technology projectsin UK projects is desirable. Civil 3D/ MX Roads / Google Earth pro will be an added advantage. Software Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD & Civil 3D Basics MS Outlook, and MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Good communication & IT skills.
