Amaltas College of Education is looking for a dynamic Academic Coordinator in its leadership team to facilitate the growth and effective functioning of the institution.

Role Description:

The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for improving the quality and delivery of teaching material and enhancing the faculty’s teaching standards, consistent with the core values of the Sandapini Gurukul Foundation and Amaltas College of Education.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the development of teaching materials, teaching staff and curriculum
Conduct staff training, assess educational material, and evaluate educational technologies
Mentor new teachers to help them develop effective instructional methods and strategies
Set goals for the faculty that encourages continuous improvement in quality of classroom instruction, and guide the faculty to go above and beyond, in achieving the goals of the Trust and the College.
Institute and implement a system of regular assessment of faculty performance against goals
Institute programs for appropriate engagement and supervision of students in a way that is consistent with the philosophy of the college (example, a community engagement project).
Skills & Qualifications :

Post Graduate degree in Arts/Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce with minimum 55% marks
B.Ed. with minimum 55% marks (M.Ed. preferred)
3+ years of teaching experience in secondary teacher’s education institution.
Good computer skills – Word, Excel, Email & Internet
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English
