Position: Android Developer

Exp : 4 -6 Years

Location - Mumbai

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Number Of year experience 4 - 6years of experience in developing apps on Android.

Skills

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Familiarity with continuous integration
Responsibilities

Implement new features and improvements in the Android Mobile Shopping app
Work closely with QA, Design and Product Management to build the best possible UX for the platform.
Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to architectural planning and refactoring.
Prioritization of your own work with help from your manager.
Collaborate with backend and business teams responsible for product development, use, and implementation effectiveness.
Qualifications

A solid grasp of fundamental algorithms, data structures, and mobile applications
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
Experience with Git, agile, project management tools and debugging techniques
