Looking for an experienced developer for building cutting edge products in the android world.

The candidate must be an experienced Android developer capable of architecting, designing, developing and testing complex applications for a variety of Android devices. An excellent understanding of software design and design patterns, good debugging skills and a solid work ethic are essential requirements.

The candidate must be self-driven and self-managed with the ability to operate effectively with little oversight through collaboration and feedback from the business will be essential drivers in the direction of the product. Strong communications skills are a must with a high emphasis on the ability to explain technology in business terms and to express opinions clearly in a straightforward manner.

Key Responsibilities

Implement new products and enhancements as they are required.
Recruit and grow a team as necessary.
Qualification Required

A degree in Computer Science or related experience.
Minimum 5 years of professional hands-on programming experience
2 years+ of experience in Java
Previous experience with tablet devices is an advantage
1+ year of MSSQL experience preferred
Experience in writing automated tests preferred
Knowledge/experience of .Net frameworks with a view to being able to integrate the applications to existing products and their databases would be an advantage
Practical experience working within a defined software development cycle, Agile experience is preferred
Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills
Must be able to show at interview applications from the Android Market that they have written.
