positions at Manipal Universal Press, MAHE, Manipal.

Senior Executive - Sales and Marketing is responsible for generating interest in the

publication and ensuring its target audience knows it via advertising, promotion, and

sending samples out to key contacts. He/she will plan campaigns and carry out promotional

activities. He/she will attend conferences and book fairs to sell books and carry out market

research to gauge demand for the publications.

Key responsibilities are: 
to ensure the sales and marketing of publications 
to promote and stay connected with dealers, distributors, retailers, buyers, and

librarians 
to work on digital presence of MUP 
to take care to see MUP websites and other websites on which MUP books are

available are updated regularly 
to organize events in coordination with all MUP staff to increase visibility of MUP

books
to organize outreach initiatives: events (book release, readers club, etc.) and services

Requirement: MBA or relevant master degree, proven professional competences,
experience in dealing with customers

Preferred: Proven social media skills
