Everest Fleet is Uber’s largest professionally managed fleet supplier in India, with a fleet of 3000+ cars, operating in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai. It was founded by a successful entrepreneur, philanthropist and seasoned angel investor Siddharth Ladsariya in October 2016.

We manage a fleet of 5000+ cars and the goals are to reach 10,000 cars by the end of 2026. As we are one of the most professionally managed fleets of the country, Uber India has entered into a strategic partnership with us. After having successfully built a business in Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi, the latest expansion was in Hyderabad.

With an aim to generate 1 lakh jobs and create an ecosystem benefiting the entire value chain - drivers, aggregators, investors & employees, Everest Fleet envisions becoming the preferred operating partner in the industry over the next 5 years

Current team size is of 850 people and 2500+ drivers. We are currently building a core team which will be responsible for the organisation’s growth.

Job Description for Accountant

Responsibilities:

Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
Preparing financial statements
Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
Supervising accounting staff
Vouchers Making
Petty Cash Handling
Documentation
Cash Handling
We are looking for a person who has:

Bachelor’s in Finance.
A minimum of 2+ years’ experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
Excellent business judgment and high level of professionalism
Ability to work in teams
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience: 3 – 6 years
