Job Description
Job Title: PGT (Economics) for Grade 11 and 12 (CBSE Curriculum)
Reports to: Principal/Vice Principal.
Required Qualifications
Educational: MA in Economics and B.Ed (Economics) with more than 60% marks.
Work Experience: Atleast 3 years as PGT in CBSE Curriculum.
Computer Skill: MS office; exposure to digital teaching platform.
Personal Traits Required
· An adaptable personality.
· Professional, Proactive and Self-initiator.
· High on interpersonal skill.
· Person keen on striving career excellence.
· Expressive communication skills.
· Planning and organizational skills.
· Creative and innovative.
· Adaptability and able to maintain a high standard of professional conduct.

Selection Process: Subject Demo & Personal Interview.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, using a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all students.Plan and prepare course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts.Evaluate and grade student class work, assignments, and papers.Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.Prepare students for standardized tests and assessments.Select and obtain all required textbooks and instructional materials.Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement instructional best practices.Serve on academic or administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and educational issues.Advise students on academic and career matters.Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of latest developments in the field of economics.Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.Attend parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents/guardians about their child’s progress.
