Senior SAS Developer

We are working with one of the Premier SAS Services company working for a large project for the Govt. of Rajasthan and are looking for a Senior SAS Developer with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join a highly talented SAS team. This role is based out of Jaipur, Rajasthan.

As a member of the team, you will collaborate with a range of developers and clients to both consult and work on specialised projects. You will be working closely with the ML manager and other SAS developers to deliver high quality data management solutions and visualisations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide reliable delivery of targeted project results through expert application of specific SAS methodologies, projects and technologies.

• Utilise SAS Solutions knowledge and experience for solution configuration, solution functionality and troubleshooting.

• Understand client requirements and generate reports based on the client /business needs.

• Design and develop technical solutions for pre-defined requirements and develop components including Dashboards and Reports.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in BASE SAS, SAS Data integration Studio, SAS Visual Analytics.

• Experience on SAS Viya will be an added advantage.

• Experience in data management concepts, SQL.

• Experience in RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, OS Unix, Unix shell scripts, Windows.

• Good exposure in SAS Data Integration for development of SAS DI Jobs used different transformations like Append, Extract, Table Loader, Lookup, Data Validation, SQL, Surrogate Key Generator, SCD Type 2, Splitter and User written Transformations.

• Able to build and maintain SAS Data Integration Studio jobs, job flows within Platform LSF, and troubleshoot job failures.

• Develop reports, visualisations and explorations aligned with SAS best-practices to deploy reports with optimal performance.

• Ability to map customer requirements and solution design to SAS solutions using different tools, techniques and interfaces.
