Skills - Oracle DBA

Experience - 5 to 8 Years

Location - Mumbai/Pune

Primary Skill or Must have Skills Oracle DBA, OEM

Secondary Skill or Good to have skills Oracle Apps, Middleware

Accurate JD Monitor and respond to database alerts

• Incident and Problem management for all in-scope databases

• Installing Oracle and components (+i,10g,11g)

• Restoring databases in non-production environments

• Manage standby databases.

• Monitor database backups and resolve any issues

• Refresh Dev and QA from production (Cloning)

• Perform point in time recovery of databases

• Deployments in Production (RFC)

• Refresh schemas/tables etc. by using import/export (Data pump)

• Database migration (moving across servers)

• Applying Oracle software patches

• User account and access management

Installing agents

• Adding hosts, databases, listeners, ASM instances, etc. to Grid

• Generate ad-hoc reports from Grid Control (using SQL and PL/SQL)

• Managing Grid Control services.

• Taking appropriate action when Grid generates alerts

• Deploying scripts across servers for better management

• Manage scheduling jobs in Grid
