1.Installation, configuration of Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and below)

2.Check the SQL Error logs.

3.Check available physical Disks pace

4.Check the Event Viewer.

5.Check the jobs for failed completion.

6.Check backups and log sizes.

7.Monitor performance with PERFMON

8.Check for outstanding active or blocked transactions.

+.Having sound knowledge of Indexing.

10.Database reindexing and run Integrity checks.

11.should have knowledge of the tools like bcp, DTS and now SSIS in SQL Server.

12.should be pro-active regarding the notifications/alert coming from monitoring system.

13.knowledge of JAVA technology and VB and VB.net

14.Monitoring of Application services on daily basis.

15.Knowledge to IIS and Apache.

16.Incumbant will be responsible to administer large complex databases for our customers.

17.Incumbant will be required to perform tasks like - Database design and support, Performance tuning and security Management, Capacity planning (Identify the usage pattern and suggest improvement in performance) and Change Management. Fault Management and Data Management.

18.Experience in developing Processes for data backup and restoration and SQL Plus, PL/SQL and shell scripting is required.

1+.Incumbant should have working experience of Relational Database Management

20.Systems Should have good working knowledge of SQL Server, Windows NT/2000. SQL coding to include DDL, DML,Stored Procedures, UDF, and Triggers. Strong database design, implementation, and management Expert level performance tuning of an Oracle +i environment. Ability to fine tune SQL statements.

21.Should be strong in Coding and Review, have good Problem Solving and Analytical Skills. Should have excellent communication, both written and oral and the ability to network.

22.Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks while under pressure.

Experience of Min - 4 to 5 Years in MS SQL Database Management
