Inventory Technician

Position Title: Hardware Lab/ Inventory Technician

Location: Bangalore

Hardware Lab Technicians (Inventory)

Should have strong working experience in ISMP and High Value Inventory.

Should have managed large inventory with more than 100 transactions per day.

Should have experience on Inventory Audit process (Book to Floor, Floor to Book), Reconciliation.

Should have good documentation skills.

Should have good experience on MS Excel, MS-Word and MS-Out Look.

Should be a Team Player.

Should have basic understanding of computer systems and peripherals.

Detailed Job Description for Inventory Controller:
• Should take the ownership of the Inventory Management. It includes receiving inventory, giving inventory on request, Shipping Inventory and Receiving the shipping. Follow the direction from the Lead or Manager.
• Publish a weekly Status Report with Health of Inventory and status.
• Conduct Audit on timely basis to make sure Inventory Health is good.
• Should be able to identify all the Inventory Items and document them.
• Should be able to prioritize the requests based on their criticality and instructions from Lead.
• Should be able to store and manage Inventory which are temporary with proper notes.
• Should follow the SLA for adding inventory, issue inventory, ship inventory.
• Should give the status of the Inventory items at any given time.
• Should be able to update the wiki page with the current status of the inventory with live data.
• Should be able to Scan using Bar code reader and use SAP Tools (ISMP) efficiently.
• Should be 100% compliance with Inventory Audits.
• Should be able to create process and suggest process improvement plans to accommodate the client requests.
• Should be able to add New Inventory Items to Inventory repository and give them back to the users upon request.
• Should be able to label the inventories with the defined Nomenclature by Customer.
• Should be able to accommodate 50 to 100 number of transactions per day in lab.
• Should work closely with Central Inventory Team to Manage the Inventory Process and new Learnings.
• Should attend meetings requested by lead regarding Process Improvement, Pass downs and Updates.
• Should be able to change the Process based on the client’s request to accommodate the new task.
• Should be able to work in Excel with High proficiency.
• Should be able to keep the backup data for Inventory Systems and transactions.

Qualification: Diploma or Degree in any discipline

Experience: Around 3 years in Inventory Management
