Requirement for Graphic Designer for Somaiya Vidyavihar

Position: Graphic Designer

Organization: Somaiya Vidyavihar

Job Location: Vidyavihar, Mumbai

Requisite qualification: Graduation in any field

Requisite experience: 2 to 3 years

Proposed salary range: INR 3 to 4 lacs per annum

Required skillset:

· Proficiency with XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, InVision, Figma, Sketch, Google Slides, Microsoft tools and Google Docs

· Strong portfolio of Visual Design, graphics, interaction & brandings.

· Knowledge of print & digital environments.

· Self-starter who knows how to collaborate and reach out to others for help.

· Ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a pre-defined timeline.

· Be comfortable collaborating in design team reviews, sharing, and brainstorming ideas with the team

Job description:

· Define visual branding through style guides, colours, illustrations, typography, iconography, and other design patterns to improve the overall visual experience.

· Design pixel-perfect visual designs for smart watch, mobile and web depending on the project expectations

· Translate user needs and business requirements into visual designs- that are minimalistic, easy to use, and emotionally engaging.

· Ensure that the latest design patterns and industry trends are considered to evolve the visual experience of the web/mobile applications

· Coordinating with a Product Head, Business Analyst , Lead UI/UX designer, and colleagues as necessary.

· Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, icons for web/mobile applications

· Create printed products including magazine layouts, brochures and fliers as per branding guidelines across institutions

· Prepare mockups, web design and multimedia presentations.

· Creative Strategy

· Revised projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process

· Coordinate with creative agencies
